Nigeria star actress,Omoni Oboli wants to go all the way for Nollywood and we mean it.The latest information reaching us about the Delta State born diva indicates that she is preparing to sharpen her skills at the New York Film school soon.The actress confirmed to www.gistmaster.com this morning that she is looking forward to learning new things that would give her the ideal edge in the area of film making. Actor,Kunle Afolayan and Stephanie Okereke are two of Nigerian leading acts who have gone through same trainings in New York,USA.
 Omoni,  who is seen as a promising act, recently got accolades for her lead role in the Kunle Afolayan's big budget movie 'Fingurine' translated to Araromire in Yoruba language.She emphasised that there is no short route to quality when it comes to making a movie that would be delievered to the homes and hearts of many of her fans.She said Nigerians and even people from different parts of the world appreciate the achievement of Nollywood so far.
 Omoni disclosed that she was particularly thrilled when she was treated to a lavish ceremony in the United States by non Nigerians who are collectors of Nollywood movies in Nigeria."It shows to what extent they love us" she said.
 Omoni's husband (Nnamdi) who was present when the interview took place at the couples residence in Victoria Garden City (VGC) was also full of praises for the Nigerian film industry.He said people have been able to identify with Nigerian culture and way of life through movies.He also corroborated his wife's view that a bit more is needed to be done to put the industry at the desired level.

 Omoni who first came into the Nigerian movie industry in 1996 ,went on along break to finish school,married and have her children.She has three boys and she is married to Nnamdi an Optometrist.They lived in England for some years before returning to Nigeria.Now,Omoni is back and this time,she says with more passion and attention for detail.
