  Welcome to the world of Oluwaseun Oluyole a.k.a DAMPTE.He was born in Lagos, Nigeria. The first of five (5) children, finished his High    School education at Scottfield High in Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos   State, Nigeria. Dampte holds a Bachelors degree (B.Sc, hons) in Computer Information System in Business from Bellevue University, Nebraska
In 1999, Dampte recorded his first single titled “J-E-S-U-S” featuring Wreck of BLUSKULL and Rocksteady of the now defunct 2nd AVENUE. Dampte, a gifted artiste who blends rap with African folklores and undertones, released 2 hit singles from his upcoming album “LOS GIDI CERTIFIED” (due to hit stores Late 2009) namely “Wapa” and “wyne your Tinkolo” ft. up and rising R&B star YQ. The songs enjoy massive airplay in the west including the mega city of Lagos, Nigeria. As the single “Wapa” already suggests, Dampte leads the pack in the Naija rap game which is changing majorly.
Both singles (Wine Ur Tinkolo & Wapa) have videos that made it to all major Top Ten list on major Television Networks across Africa.
 As a radio presenter with Okin FM (Offa, Kwara State) from 2006 to late 2007 on Dampte’s Top Ten Show, Dampte was rated the best Radio personality of the year, with his silk-like voice. In December 2008, Dampte bagged the Most Promising Artiste at the OSBC AWARDS (Osun State Broadcasting Corporation).
Amongst many other things, he combines a banking job with his music career. He is an artiste under 2MOCH REKORDZ, a registered company in Nigeria with their address in the State of Lagos.
