Get The Perfect Skin With These 8 Foods
The skin is such an integral part to beauty and women have been searching for ways to make it perfect since the beginning of time. There are facials and creams and treatments all geared towards giving us glistening youthful skin, but we don’t realize that we can spend just a few minutes in our refrigerator to find just what we need.
Here are eight foods to help you achieve it.
1. Avocados
Though very rich, avocados can help to eliminate under eye circles and their rich supply of vitamin E promotes circulation
.
2. Berries
If you are looking to turn back the hands of time, try eating some strawberries or blueberries. They help to prevent aging and give an added dose of protection for your skin.
3. Broccoli
Broccoli and other green vegetables keep your skin moisturized by helping your body to produce sebum, which lubricates your skin and hair.
4. Carrots
We always associate carrots with being great for our eyesight, but they also work wonders for the scalp.
5. Mushrooms
Mushrooms contain loads of selenium which improves the skin’s elasticity and protects it from the harmful rays of the sun.
6. Oranges
Though the Vitamin C in oranges boosts our immune system, the vitamin A in the fruits help reduce inflammation of the skin and it keeps our pores clean.
7. Papaya
Though wonderful to eat, papayas also decrease the appearance of dark spots when placed on the skin.
8. Watermelon
Watermelons have loads of lycopene which help to keep the skin soft and smooth.

MY MINI BOX BAGS
Welcome to the COLOR BLOCK Party
Color Pop, Color Blocking, Brights or what ever you choose to call it, its all about the New hue which brightly spells- "Attitude" . It is Bold , UN-afraid and ready to Glow. It involves some knowledge of the color wheel and a bit of bravery. The main idea is combining different colors that support and compliment each other. With Clash being the new Black, take a walk on the "Bright" side and liven up your day. Although you don't have to pile it all up and look like a walking Christmas tree, rather a few hints here and there will drive home your point .
Points to watch out for while COLOR- ing
- Don’t be shy to experiment. Any color combination is fantastic if you can pull it off properly. Blue, green and orange sounds mad but will work well just fine .
- Do not combine more than three to four colors. It’s not that it doesn’t look nice, but it looks very ‘ramp’ish. Moreover more colors will keep cutting your body shape here and there making it a not so beautiful sight.
- Choose what you want to color block and keep the rest of your look simple. For example, if you opt for a colorblocked bag, go easy on the clothes and shoes. You don’t want to look like a Rubik cube.
- Never ever ever combine two color blocked items. This is the worst thing to do to this trend. No actually you can, its just that you will end up looking like the latest catalogue of Dulux paints.

ZEBRA LIVING SPRING SUMMER 2011 LOOKBOOK: The Mara Collection
Inspired by a luxury safari holiday in Kenya, the Mara collection is very much a resort collection with comfy romantic lines, flirty prints and a classic slant. Mara features happy, feminine pieces that will take any woman through the style demands of those glorious pending holidays and way beyond.
Brimming with masterfully cut shifts and generously draped silhouettes, the Mara collection is also a dynamic textile showcase that reiterates the versatility of the Zebra label. This collection employs vast spectra of textures ranging from jersey and linen for those hot days in the tropics to chiffon and aso-oke (locally handmade cotton weave) for breezy evening soirees ...all beautifully come together.
Vibrant earth colours of the Kenyan safari abound and awaken in bold shades of red, coral and brown tinted with rich blues and turquoises reminiscent of sky and sea.
The pieces in the Mara collection are purposefully accessorized with leather belts reminiscent of the Masai warriors, adding a hint of texture and contrast to this vibrant collection which is above all, very classy, happy, sexy Zebra.
Gorgeous. Don't you think?
