Aisha Babangida, daughter of former military head of state, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida is pregnant for her husband of about three years. Aisha married Mamud Shinkafi, the governor of Zamfara State in 2008. Her first marriage to Basheer, cousin of the Abachas didn't work and it led to divorce but they both have a child together.
Report according to City people indicates that Aisha Babangida Shinkafi has temporarily relocated to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, where she hope to have the baby. This is to enable her avoid the prying eyes of celebrity journalists and paparazzi. It would also enable her enough bed rest and completely switch off from her tight schedule as the first lady of Zamfara State.
