The April 2013 edition of Bubbles Magazine is covered by African pop icon
and music megastar 2face Idibia. Not just any old cover, mind you; Bubbles
went out on a ledge to create a portrait of Tubaba in all his regal glory
on a never before seen reflective cover. The first 3,000 readers to pick up
their copies will get the special limited edition cover, while other
readers will have to make do with the regular cover. Bubbles Magazine is
known for setting trends and trailblazing; last edition which featured
eLDee The Don and Trybe Records had a special gate-flap cover.
This edition combines a couple of firsts: the colourful portraiture and the
reflective cover is one that has never been seen on the continent. The new
edition features Chidinma who talks about her plans for the future and
Praiz who incidentally contested on Project Fame the year after Chidinma.
As always, Bubbles Magazine- respected as being the authentic voice of
Nigerian entertainment journalism does not let down with this comprehensive
compilation. There's a feature on the hottest music video directors, a
feature on Lemi Ghariokwu who speaks on his claim to worldwide fame, album
cover art and a spotlight on the freshest artistes currently making waves.
Bubbles Magazine edition 28 is available in shops and from vendors across
the nation from Monday 29th April 2013.
