Years after two nollywood star actresses,Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde and Genevieve Nnaji drifted apart because of what many tagged 'supremacy war', the two seems to have settled their differences.

According to a story written by Bola Akinboade,Genevieve and Omotola have settled their querrel and they now appear cool with each other. At the recent event hosted by style Icon,Nike Oshinowo Soleye, the shared a lt of them together as they moved around like siamese twins. It would be recalled that Genevieve and Omotola have not been on good terms for years. It was an open thing in Nollywood that the two fell apart based on the battle for 'who should respect who in Nollywood?' or 'who is the hottest in nollywood?'

There was a time over who should be the highest paid and endorsement portfolios.Many people believe that the two actresses are both valuable in their rights. "Yes, Genevieve got mega deal with Lux some years (which was not reviewed) but Omotola too done several modelling jobs and product endorsements (far more than what Genevieve has done).

Today, Genevieve and Omotola re no more as visible as before in movies.

Another Good news reported in this week's City People Magazine is that Genevieve and Rita Dominic have also settled their differences. This is indeed the harvest of re-conciliation in Nigeria movie industry.We gathered that Rita Dominic and Genevieve Nnaji are now cool together after what many regarded as 3 years of misunderstanding.The two were sighted by journalists at an event in Lagos. Unlike before when they both don't get along, they were in each others company and even took photographs together.

Taiwo Obatunsin loaded entertainment community with the gist of Mercy Aigbe, a leading Yoruba movie practitioner is pregnant for her hotelier husband. Come saturday the 6th of February 2010 @ the grand finale of the MNET Face of Africa, the final 10 contestants would be unveiled in the buzzing city of Lagos. The highly anticipated event, would be seen live from the New Eko Hotel Exhibition Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.This year’s Face of Africa winner will receive US$50 000 from M-Net plus a modeling contract with O Model Africa. The beauty of this years event is that some of Nigeria's top fashion designers,who will be parading their latest collection at the event. Namely - Lanre Da silva Ajayi -LDA , Frank Osodi - Bunor Creazioni , Zizi Cardow- Zizi and Yemi Osunkoya of Koshiba fashion. SIJI, AFRO SOUL SENSATION SET TO PERFORM AT JAZZHOLE AWOLOWO ROAD,IKOYI

Siji, spent much of his early childhood in Lagos and London before going to the US to further pursue his musical ambitions. His cultural heritage combined with the political and social movements of the age, exposed a young Siji to the insurgent, politicized music of the Afrobeat legends Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Tony Allen as well as the soulful grooves of Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and Otis Redding.

His parents, in particular, his father, loved music, but like most children of hardworking immigrants, Siji was urged by them to pursue a career in the professional fields of medicine or law. But the lure of the music was too strong. In the nineties, when London was bursting at the seams with new music and groups like Loose Ends, Soul II Soul, and D-Influence dominated the scene, Siji’s attention was captured and he began to follow his passion for making and recording his own music.

Siji relocated to New York and performed in renowned venues—SOB’s, Bam Café and Joe's Pub. He has worked with a number of producers, but it is his collaboration with Osunlade, who produced music for Musiq Soulchild, Eric Benet, and classic R&B vocalist Patti Labelle, that has fostered in Siji a love of production.

He has contributed songwriting and production talent to projects for Salif Keita, Cesaria Evora, Vinia Mojica and Wunmi. Along with those skills, Siji brought with him the immediate feedback and positive energy of the live performance into the studio, creating songs that would eventually make up his debut album God-Given (BBE Records, 2004). At The Jazzhole, Friday 29th, January, 2010, Siji will be playing tracks from his new album release, adeSIJI.

By the time the Nigeria-Mozambique match was over at the Africa Cup of Nations (Angola 2010),Osaze Odemwigie of the super Eagles was not only elated that he drove his fatherland to victory with two goals, he was also happy because got an overwhelming vote as Guinness Man of Greatness.www.gistmaster.com gathered that the title would be presented to him by ace footballer,Austin Jay Jay Okocha on behalf of Guinness Nigeria plc

Odenwingie knows his wing very well and he proved that at the Nigerian match against Mozambique at the ongoing African Cup of Nations. He scored two goals and dazzled the crowed with his dribbling skills and affection for details on the field of play.
