10 REASONS WHY NAIJA CELEBRITY LADIES CAN'T FIND HUSBANDS

City people's fashion editor, Bola Akinboade did a story on the reasons why it is becoming increasingly difficult for celebrity women to find husbands. Gistmaster.com did a 'disection' on her points. Happy reading

MOST ELIGIBLE MEN ARE NOT READY TO SETTLE DOWNDo you know that alot of the eligible guys out there are still struggling to make ends meet? Bola Akinboade wrote that our society is made in such a way that it is easier for women to strike a business deal than men. One of the reasons why women hold key positions in companies, with fat salaries as take home. Most women who are financially bouyant would think less of marriage. The report says that the fact that the cost of living is increasing everyday will make a man take a second thought before considering marriage.

 HEART BREAKS

Another reason why most celebrity women dont find husband is the strong coat attitude they put up after going through several heart breaks. You know some people were sure of marriage with their partners until they receive the shocking note "I am no more interested" from the man. After one or two experinces it became too difficult to trust any man even when the serious one eventually shows up.

TOO BUSY PURSUING CAREER

Some women are just too busy pursuing their career that they forget that its time to settle down in marriage. Some women are so concerned about the career that they give low or even zero tolerance for building relationships.

SUCCESSFUL WOMEN CAN BE A TURN OFF

Some men feel intimidated at the rising profile of their female partner. For some guys out there, they don't see a woman that is richer than them as someone who would be submissive to them in marriage. At the end, most guys usually 'burst out' of such relationship.

TOO PICKY

It would be difficult for a celebrity woman to find a husband to call her own if she is the type that have set too high standard for herself. Some women are never satisfied with tany man that comes their way. They like to choose and drop until they find out that age is no longer on their side and there was nothing to choose again. Today, they want a man that look like Will Smith, tommorow its D'banj and next tommorow maybe someone that has the position and charisma of Obama.

TOO INDEPENDENT AND UNCONTROLLABLE

Getting a suitable husband would be difficult for a man who is too independent and uncontrollable.Having made their own money, own shares in multinational companies with line of family fortune, some women see little or nothing to gain in marriage. They also believe that they dont need a man to control them after all they have all they could even wanted material wise.

FINDING A DECENT MAN

Finding a man who is actually truthful and romantic, according to Bola Akinboade, is a big challenge to most Nigerian women. In her report in City People magazine, the fashion editor said ladies are easily pissed off by some attitudes exhibited by guys such smoking and excessive drinking.Instead of also staying by their true love, some guys love to sleep around with rich women so that they came money off them.

MEN'S DESIRE FOR YOUNGER WOMEN

Most guys prefer younger women especially those still in their 20s. Those who are in their 30s hadly get much suitors because men believe they must have played away their time. " This make most women in their 3os stuck with flings or dating younger men with zero prospect for marriage.

DATING MARRIED MEN

Most ladies who start off their lives dating married men usually get stucked later in life because they would have wasted their time with men who obviously have no marriage plan for them. They get easily carried away by the posh apartment rented to them by the sugar daddy, the car he bought and the travel to choice places around the world they make together. Before they realise it, they would have wasted much of their time. The search for their own man starts at the eleventh hour.

LOOKING FOR MR RIGHT

The search for the perfect man usually keep some ladies waiting for a long time before they settle down. They don't believe in settling for Mr. Second Best. They already have a clear imagination of the kind of man that they wanted, so the look must be exactly as they imagined it to be!

ERE DAPPA ARISES

From my early days as a Fashion Journalist, I have been exposed to the very many sides of Fashion and its evolution in the industry in Nigeria and I can say for a fact that very few designers possess the artistic insight of EREDAPPA.
ABOUT EREDAPPA
Ere Dappa Hart is a Nigerian born designer who specializes in designing womenswear made from local Ankara fabric that is layered with a labyrinth of intricate beadwork. Ankara fabric is depictive of the African culture as it displays the motives, symbols and patterns that are reminiscent of events, old traditions and folklore. EREDAPPA’s Design can be described as multilayered or 3 dimensional as she uses Ankara as her canvas.

For years, EREDAPPA has catered to a very elitist group and for the first time in a long time, she embarks on a mainstream display at the ARISE MAGAZINE FASHION WEEK.
MORSI PR have been drafted to work with the team as official PR Consultants for the EREDAPPA team and every day we would give you the inside details as we prepare for the Fashion Show.
We begin the remarkable journey to the fashion show tomorrow but for now savor the glory in the 2008 Collection by EREDAPPA.

Toodles.

KENT PASTOR CONFESSES TO SEX ASSAULT ON TWO MALES

[caption id="attachment_3939" align="alignleft" width="500" caption="Albert Odulele"][/caption]

By Oganile Akinolurin/Gistmaster

Albert Odulele, a 47 year old pastor based in the United Kingdom has confessed to sexual crimes. The shocking disclosure happened at the Bexley Magistrates Court in Bexleyheath, where the pastor is standing trial.

Odulele, who is revered for his eloquence and carriage, confessed that he indecently assaulted a boy under 16 year old. He also did the same with another male who is slightly above 16. No one could say if Odulele had been doing it for a long time, but mothers within and outside the UK think it is a condemnable act for a man who is supposed to be a counselor and father to be doing such a thing.

The 47 year old Pastor, who is also the leader of Glory House Church in east London would be sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court at a later date, said Metropolitan Police

ANGRY COMEDIAN, HOLY MALAM TO SUE NIRA RECORDS

It is definitely unusual to see a comedian angry. One comedian and event compere who is boiling so much with anger is Holy Malam. Gistmaster.com gathered that the handsome presenter had an agreement with Nira Audio Visual Company but the deal didn’t go as smooth as he had wanted it to be. The comedian claimed that Nira violated international statutory laws and guidelines guiding the replication of literary works.

Holy Mallam also claims that the foreign company that was licensed and registered by the  Nigerian Copyright Commission breached  contract by delivering the
work it was contracted to do 14 days after due delivery date and in
the middle of the road and also infringed on copyright and destroyed
public image that led to loss of Goodwill.
Holly Mallam is demanding a sum of N10 million
Naira from Nira Audio Visuals as damages for what he allegedly went through in the course of doing business with the company.

CHOCOLATE CITY SIGNS NIGERIAN IDOL GIRL TONII,RELEASES TWO SINGLES

Former Nigerian Idol Contestant, Tonii has released two singles barely two weeks after she exited the reality TV show. Both songs - "Iwo Ni Ma Ba lo" and "I Rule", solely written and composed by the artiste, clearly project her versatility in neosoul, rnb, pop and contemporary naija vibes (afro). It is therefore not a surprise that following her exit from the show, the media was filled with the buzz that Audu Maikori's Chocolate City which also parades stars like M.I, Jesse Jags and Ice Prince has indicated interest in offering her a record deal. While she was on show, Audu and the other judges constantly commended her musical range and vocal strength.

In September 2010, just before she auditioned for the Nigerian Idol contest, Tonii thrilled friends, family and guests from the music industry and media agents at her debut performance held at De Marquee restaurant and lounge bar, an upscale entertainment and relaxation spot in Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was sponsored by Martini and Bacardi.

Born as Oluwatoni Afolayan and raised in the quiet town of Ilorin in Kwara State where she also bagged a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Ilorin, Tonii started singing at an early age and has since been trained by renowned musicians including Peter King, the legendary jazz artist and saxophonist, under whose tutelage she honed her vocal and piano skills. Tonii is definitely one upcoming artiste you should look out for in 2011.
