Ariaba is a contemporary lifestyle brand that produces handmade jewelry and leather accessories. Created by sisters Linda and Caroline in the summer of 2010. 

Ariaba experiments with traditional adornment concepts and reinterprets this through a modern eye. Inspired by world culture and the individual tastes of the pair (which is fused by DNA and the shared passion for creating unique and stylish pieces) Arabia blends edge with elegance.

Ariaba works with precious metals, gemstones, czech beads, and exotic materials (like tusks, python ribs, stingray, carved bones, crocodile skin, ostrich skin, lizard skin, mohair, calf skin etc) 

all combined to create eclectic pieces that dare to stand out. Each piece is handcrafted and, therefore, each is one of a kind.

LOOKBOOK - Tiffany Amber In “Fearless Luxury” – A/W 2011/12 Ad Campaign

Tiffany Amber - Timeless Elegance is one well known to never one to follow trends rather set them. The A/W 2011/12 collection stays  true to the brand’s aesthetic as there is a parade of various fabric types , colors and textures . From the  Silks to the lush velvets and rich coral and gunmetal embellishments, coming in shades of orange, hues of blue, gold and nude tones create an effect that is the true definition of “Fearless Luxury”; luxe beyond any luxury lover’s imagination.

In the designer’s bid to continue to push the boundaries for her prints, four images of beads taken from the archives of award winning photographer Vitor Politis were ethically produced for the collection.

According to the designer Folake Folarin-Coker, “This is my favourite collection so far. It embodies a multitude of women; classic yet youthful, sexy yet demure, vibrant yet sophisticated.

EX-GOVERNOR's AIDE KILLED IN LAGOS

  Bode Obolo, a former Special Assistant to ex-Ondo Governor, Chief Olusegun Agagu has been killed. He was shot dead on Thursday 18 August 2011 after men suspected to be hired assasins gained entry into his home in Iju Water works area, Lagos State.
Gistmaster gathered that Obolo has been abroad for about two years but arrived to the country about less than a week ago. He was expected to travel to his home town of Okitipupa when the incident happened.Idowu Obolo, the younger brother of the deceased confirmed the unfortunate incident.
