The Kardashians have rushed back to Los Angeles for Kanye's 'psychiatric emergency' after the rapper suffered a 'psychotic break' just days after the anniversary of his mother's death.

Kanye was hospitalized while wearing handcuffs on Monday, forcing his wife Kim Kardasian to cancel her comeback to public life and rush to his side. Today, she was joined by her mother Kris Jenner and sister Kourtney who jetted back to Los Angeles today following a New York gala.

West's doctor feared he would hurt police as he allegedly screamed about people trying to kill him and had hallucinations while he had a psychotic break at his personal trainer's house, it has been revealed. 

TMZ reports that West's personal doctor called 911 around 1:20pm, when the Fade rapper started acting 'erratically' at the home of his trainer Harley Pasternak - just hours after cancelling the remaining dates on his Saint Pablo tour. 

Dr Michael Farzam told emergency responders that he was placing West on a 5150 hold, which allows a physician to forcible admit a person with a mental disorder to the hospital, because he attacked a staff member of staff at the residence/gym.

He gave emergency responders an alias for West, saying he was a man named 'Jim Jones' who 'suffers from temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration'.The call sent the local fire department into emergency mode, according to dispatch audio.In the audio clip, one of the emergency responders can be heard categorizing the call as a 'psychiatric emergency'.It has been reported that West tried to resist paramedics, and had to be handcuffed to the stretcher as he was taken to UCLA Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation. However, TMZ reports that it's is standard practice to handcuff a patient when a doctor has an initiated a 5150 hold. West's wife Kim Kardashian was in New York at the time and immediately got on a plane to fly back to LA to be at her husband's bedside. She was scheduled to make an appearance at the Angels Ball with her sisters Monday night, her first public event since being robbed at gunpoint in Paris last month. And sources told DailyMail.com that matriarch Kris Jenner was furious the gala evening had been spoiled for herself and her daughters, by Kanye's drama.
'I overheard her in the ladies’ toilets on the phone saying "Great, another thing, another thing ruined for us. This was supposed to be a nice evening for us and everything is ruined because of Kanye,"' they told Daily Mail
