PARTY RULES 6:MAKE THINGS HAPPEN

By Niyi Tabiti
Chief Reporter

Most of us learnt long time ago that there are three different kind of people on earth. Those who wonder why things happen, those who imagine things happen and those who make things happen!
Of course, you have to belong to the last group. Make things happen. Don't go to that party just to look at people dacing (It is not a cinema). You've got to rock, rock. In case, you don't know the rocking formular you can ask our dear entertainer per excellence, Derele Edun of Soundcity. The guy seems to be screaming (of ecstasy?).
Hmm..Derele!

PARTY RULES 5:KEEP IT SIMPLE!

Take it or leave it, it pays to look simple like the irresistible Pastor (Mrs.) Ifeayin Adefarasin of House on the Rock Church. You don't have to show off that you are indeed the pancake queen or wear so much ornament that would make you look like a masquerade before you are recognised as the most elegant at that social gathering. Simplicity talks. What you wear does not determine how much you are worth.Keep everything to the minimal and you will be astounded how much respect you will get.

PARTY RULES 4: IF YOU AINT GOT THE SMILE FOR THE PARTY, DON'T PARTY!

By Niyi Tabiti

If you like wear a lace fabric worth $10 million dollar or a wristwatch that is well worth the price of America Airforce One, if you aint in the right mood for the party don't party. Your dressing is not complete without that smile! Take it or leave, some people attend functions just to cause commotion. They are just looking for someone who will mistakenly step on their toes and they get loose!
Get on the party train and be positive.Show love and rock as if you taught King Sunny Ade those 'wicked' dancing steps. To steal the show, plant a smile on your face.It makes you look more beautiful.

PARTY RULES 3:CONFIDENCE & PLEASE NO TERRIBLE HEELS.

By Niyi Tabiti

Confidence is what you need when you step into that party just like our dear Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon in this photo.Don't just breeze at a jet speed or wear a shoe with terrible heels (The kind that make so much noise like a trailer horn). Some people try to gain attention at parties especially dinner by coming late, yet trying to gain attention with their supposed ‘American wonder’ high heel shoes.Yeah! You will get noticed with a terrible look of course!

PARTY RULES 2:STEAL GLANCES

STEAL GLANCES: That you are hot is determined by the number of people who steal glances at you whenever you party with others. Now, don't just believe you are the hottest until you steal glances at others too. Check out their style and see if you are not over dressed!
Secondly, make sure that your phone is fully charged because everyone would come accross as being friendly and trust, they would want to have your number! "Sorry, my phone is down" would give the wrong signal that you are a bad planner.
In Lagos parties, almost everyone want to out shine one another. Mind you, some people can tell the prices of everything you are wearing from A-Z. Like callywaffygirl would say, DG is different from D&G!

PARTY RULES 1:LICK IT!

CHANGE THE TEMPO-Whenever you step into that party and almost everyone around get envious of what you are wearing or they could not just take their eyes off because of your heavenly beauty or well endowned body...just lick it!
Trust me, their brain will log out immediately!
When next you step into that party, change the tempo and be a pacesetter!
