DEATH HIT THE NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY AS ACTOR MUYIDEEN ALADE AROMIRE BID THE WORLD GOODBYE AFTER A TRAGIC AUTO ACCIDENT

Prince Muyideen Alade Aromire, a popular actor and movie producer is dead.The man, whom many describe as the true founder of the home video business in Nigeria died on friday 4 July 2008.www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com gathered that Alade died in a tragic auto crash on his way to his home.
A prince from the Oba of Lagos royal lineage, Alade made several movies in the early 90s.Alade also started Yotomi TV, the first Indigenous cable televison station in Nigeria.He would be greatly missed by friends and colleagues within and outside the Nigerian movie industry.
At the time of posting this report, Prince Jide Kosoko the president of the Association of Theatre Arts Practitioner (ANTP) and other leaders in the Nigerian movie are deliberating on how to give the departed a befitting burial.

ReplyDeleteJust read the story in Punch. Blood is certainly on the heads of these useless wicked leaders who spend money meant for development and common good to 'enjoy life' and send their children abroad.
This is so sad. His presence would be greatly missed by the movie industry in Nigeria. He was one of the pioneers of the yoruba movie industry. I remember one of his first movies that he produced "Laide : the housegirl" with wummi in 1992. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

ReplyDeleteIt saddens my heart to read on the internet the death of Alade Aromire, death! you are very cruel, you have dealt the Aromires with a big blow. But one thing is certain, if the Lord Almighty did not allow this, it would not happen. With heavy heart and tears in my eyes l say "adieu, Sun re o" May the Lord Almighty give your family the fortitude to bear the lose. You will greatly be missed.

ReplyDeleteI only just read an interview he did about his tv station a while back, he was so full of vision and optimism.
May God be with his family and friends, this is such a tragic loss.
I just read about Alade's death, he happened to be one of the good actors i love to see in movies it is a sad news but pray God to comfort his wife, family members and all Nigerian Movie actors and actresses, ojo a jinna sira o (amin)
