 The organisers of the much awaited Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN) whose core aim is to provide visibility platforms for new talents and help gather international attention and awareness, has announced its new ambassadors. The event which is to hold in the month of May17th and 18th we have announced Pokello Nare and Elikem Kumordz , the soon-to-be couple as ambassadors of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, who were big brother housemates 2013 (The Chase).

A man identified as Chief Tola Okuneye has been shot dead inside church at Olokuta church, oke shopin, ijebu igbo. The assassination, which took place Sunday morning shocks most people because nothing of such has ever happened in that part of the country.The deceased was popularly known as Tola Furniture.

Global Fashion Week Abuja 2014 Set To Host Patience Jonathan,Others

As part of its promoting peace and unity in Africa through key
lifestyle events, Face of World organization is putting together the Global
 Fashion week in collaboration with Institute of Peace
and Conflict Resolutions in Abuja.

According to information gathered by Gistmaster, the event is slated
to hold between July 28 and August 2, 2014 at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja.

If everything go as planned by the organizers, we gathered that the
runway would be formally opened by the First lady, Dame Patience
Jonathan. She would be supported by the country director UN Millennium
Goal,wife of the vice present, Mrs Sambo,wife of the senate president,
Mrs Helen David Mark and others.
The organisers said there would be peace concerts while guests would
also be treated to runway catwalk by celebrities such as Charly and
recognised fashion models all over the country.

Adelani Ayomide Arrested with 18 human skulls

Police in Ogun state arrested Adelani Ayomide for being in possession of 18 human skulls in Ado-Odo/ Ota local government area.

The Police public relations officer, Mr Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed the arrest of Ayomide,38.He also said the suspect was Thursday after policemen conducted a stop and search on him around 6 a.m
