RECARE REPACKAGES WITH TOP MODEL,OLUCHI ONWEAGBA ORLANDI

First M-NET Face of Africa winner , Oluchi Onweagba Orlandi was treated to  a soiree by the management of Natures Gentle Touch as they formally announced her as the face of Recare products in Nigeria.The new packaging kits of Natures Gentle Touch range of top- of -the- mind beauty and personal style brand for all Africans has photos boldly on it.
The event took place at the new ultra modern head office and hair beauty institute on Murhi Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
gistmaster gathered that the top model and Natures Gentle Touch in Nigeria have some exisiting agreement spanning about two years but this is the unveiling of the first set of products having Oluchi as image on the packaging.
Aside members of the Nigerian media present at the occasion, there were also beauticians and friends of the company who came to celebrate with them. Oluchi danced and also took pictures with many people present at the occasion.
Chika Ikenga, the founder/Managing Director Natures Gentle Touch in Nigeria disclosed that he always envisioned the company as a continental and global brand for millions of African women around the world.
On her part, Oluchi disclosed she’s excited about the whole packaging because it is also another way of showcasing African beauty brand to the rest of the world.
Twelve years after she won the first MNET face of africa, Oluchi Onweagba Orlandi continue to be a force to be reckoned with in world beauty and modelling industry. She co-Owns O Models Agency, South Africa. She is also regarded as one of the most successful models to come out of Africa.
Mnet face of Africa 1998 was  a collaboration between leading South Africa media company and Elite Model Management, New York. Today, she has graced the covers of Gianfranco Ferre, Vogue,True Love and several other top fashion magazines around the world.
Oluchi is married to Luca Orlandi, a respected fashion designer and founder of Luca Luca brand.

DA'GRIN IN AUTO CRASH..RUSHED TO LUTH

By the time you are reading this story,Da'grin one of Nigeria's fast rising hip hop star would still be on the hospital bed recuperating from injuries sustained in a auto accident. gistmaster gathered that the star vehicle ran into a stationery vehicle at night about two days ago. He was later rushed to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Lagos. A source close to the artiste confirmed the incident. The source disclosed that it is a day the star would not gorget in his entire life. Da'Grin, the momi osini le crooner is expected out of the hospital soon.

COMMISSIONER LIED...ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ORGANIZERS TELL GOVERNOR FASHOLA

Organizers of Enough is Enough, a peaceful demonstration against bad leadership in Nigeria has told the press and Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos that the commissioner of Information in the state,Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele lied when he said the rally did not follow due process and approval of the state government.
In a press release earlier released by the Commissioner of Information and Strategy,Lagos State, which was already in the hands of the organizers, the commissioner stated that the organizers did not follow the process of informing the governor’s office or the government of Lagos.
However, the organizers who are mainly youth says that the Lagos State commissioner or whosoever prepared the statement for him was being economical with truth.As they informed and also got a response from Governor Fashola’s office weeks ago.The acknowledgment letter, they stated was signed by the office of Chief of Staff to Governor Fashola on March 30, 2010.
They also said the Lagos State Commissioner of Police was duly informed and they got a swift response.The police were also at the rally.
They also said that the protest is not against the Lagos State government or Governor Fashola, it is a national campaign aimed at changing the socio-economic and political system that is not moving the Nigerian nation forward.
