Mike Igbinedion Convicted

 

Mike Igbinedion has been convicted following corruption charges levelled against him by the Nigerian anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC). He is the younger brother to convicted former governor of Edo state, Lucky Igbonedion. They are both sons of a Nigerian billionaire,Sir Gabriel Igbinedion. 

 According to Igbinedion family website, Micheal Igbinedion, a socialite and businessman studied Political Science and Law at Howard University,USA and Warwick University in UK, respectively. He is married.

 Gistmaster gathered that Mr.Micheal Igbinedion was convicted  after several adjournment in a law court in Nigeria.

One of the the leading traditional rulers in Yorubaland, Oba Sikiru Adetona the Awujale of Ijebuland disappointed Mr President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday.

Awujale refused to amke any comment that would suggest support for GEJ re-election bid. Rather the traditional ruler said he is an institution and a father to all.He has told his people to vote for the right people with the right manifesto not corrupt and incompetent leaders.

 

Oba Adetona became the traditional ruler of the ancient town in 1960 at the age of 26. He is a first cousin to one of Africa's richest men listed on Forbes, Otunba Mike Adenuga.
