IBADAN STANDS STILL FOR ADEDIBU

The remains of Chief (Alhaji) Lamidi Adedibu the strong man of 'Amala' politics is expected to be committed to mother earth today in Ibadan.The late politician and godfather of Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala of Oyo State died yesterday at the Intensive Care Unit of UCH Ibadan.He was 80.
According to latest news getting to www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com , the ancient city of Ibadan is at a standstill for Adedibu.Most markets did not open,secondary school students are at home because of the passage of Adedibu.Primary school teachers began a warning strike accross the Nigeria yesterday so the pupils are enjoying their 'compulsory' holiday.
Naturally,civil servants also used the opportunity to relax at home while those who can make it stormed the residence of Adedibu popularly known as 'Alafin Molete' this morning.
