CHARLES TAYLOR GOES TO JAIL

Charles Taylor was today sentenced to 50 years in prison after the war crimes tribunal convicted him for crime against humanity. The former Liberian President was in exile in Nigeria durning the administration of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo before he was arrested.
  Charles Taylor was found guilty because he was a major sponsor of the civil war in Sierra Leone. Rebels that Charles Taylor sponsored raped and brutalised thousands of people before the war ended in 2002
