ASK NIYI:WHO OWNS DBANJ,DON JAZZY LEKKI HOME?

Someone  asked me questions some days back regarding the rift between Don Jazzy and Dbanj. He said the Nigerian media have helped the Mo Hits crew in making millions of dollars. I agree that the media have been active partners in the hype of the two UK returnees who later became the favourite of music fans within and outside the country.Gistmaster broke the story of their rift when the two decided to go their seperate ways.
"Niyi, if i want to believe the latest news in town, Don Jazzy and Dbanj lived in a rented apartment, despite all the millions they have been making from endorsements, performance and albums?"
"They have both moved their things out of the apartment! If the house belonged to the two of them or to one, both would have not moved out. Buying cars and living the life of a superman is good but these guys should check out their American Idols, they buy good houses in the property market. That is even going too far,Don Jazzy and Dbanj should emulate Psquare who are now living in their own multi-million Naira house in Omole Estate. Now Dbanj is floating with Wande Coal and others in 1004 apartment. What happens to all their money?"
I have heard stories of top musicians like Faze, Tuface and others who lived in hotels. Yes, it is good for the purpose of effect, but they need good managers to help them put their money into proper use."

Response: There was a time people said they actually owned the house but just like you, many of their fans stillo don't know whats going on. Promise to update you soon.

LATEST NEWS:REAL REASONS DON JAZZY AND DBANJ ARE FIGHTING

When the news broke out that Don Jazzy had moved out of the Lekki apartment he shares with Dbanj, fans and friends of the duo in the entertainment industry where shocked. After we did the story on the alleged rift between the duo, a highly dependable source disclosed that the issue is not a rumour but true.We wish that these young millionaires who have changed the face of entertainment in Nigeria would have a re-think and keep the industry flowing in the right direction.
Another source also told gistmaster that the duo of Don Jazzy and Dbanj have been having issues for sometime but they always make up, so don't be suprised if they announce anytime soon that their personal and business relationship is still rock solid.

DON JAZZY VS DBANJ OR DBANJ VS DON JAZZY: SOURCES SAY SPLIT IMMINENT

There are strong indications that the silent war between Don Jazzy and Dbanj might be getting out of hand. Sources very close to the two entertainers and directors of Mo'Hits records diclosed to gistmaster.com that the two of them have been having disagreements and it all bothers on ego problem but they have been trying to keep things low because of the public. All you see them doing in public in recent times is cosmetic
Dbanj, we gathered, was not particularly happy that some of his works have not received adequate attention from Don Jazzy in recent times, unlike before. He is also said to be disatisfied over a particular deal. "If care is not taken, they might call it quit with their business relationship soon" the source hammered.
As a way of confirming the story, Gistmaster reached out to Media Image Managers, the media consultant of Mo'Hits, they said they have not been briefed over the matter. We have heard the same thing just like every other person"
"If there are issues at all, we will get back to you", a spokesman for the company told gistmaster on phone

Singer, Ikechukwu got more than he bargained in the hands of bouncers at Rehab, an hangout located on Ajose Adeogun Street Victoria Island, Lagos.Ikechukwu, who was visiting the place after the MTV Africa Music Awards was bared by stern looking bouncers who obviously didn't know who he was. Naeto C and other celebs were allowed in but he was shut out by the bouncers.
Ikechukwu felt insulted that the bouncers didnt recognised him. Before you could say 'nothing dey happen'- the whole thing degenerated into a hot argument with Ikechukwu blowing the bouncer in the mouth and blood started rushing out. The bouncer couldn't respond back to Ikechukwu because if he should fight back the management of the club will take it against him.
For minutes , people dragged and dragged Ikechukwu out of the scene with the likes of Sound Sultan wadding the matter. At this time, he had already removed his shirt. His girlfriend, Sarah Ofili who was at the scene was obviously embarrassed at the whole development.
Gistmaster.com later saw him explaining to some people that the bouncer was getting trilled at the whole thing because he saw people with cameras capturing the whole development. He kept on refering to one of the mediators as Lolu ( Who obviously was not).
Rehab is operated by two Island big boys, Aisien Owen and Lolu Shodehinde.
