Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio today emerged the new Pope.The new Pope who is from Argentina will take the papal name Pope Francis 1. He is the first person to be elected Pope from latin america as well as the first Jesuit in the history of the catholic church.
Profile of the new pope indicates that he was born on 17 December 1936.he was elected the Archbishop of Buenos Aires in 1998.He was promoted to the cardinal-ate of the Roman Catholic Church in 2001.
