How negative news got Stella Damasus NDLEA endorsement
I am sure you remember the breaking news sometime ago that beautiful Nigerian actress Stella Damasus was arrested by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)?The actress was very bitter calling those spreading the falsehood as agent of darkness.
Everything seems to have turned a good one for Stella whom we gathered has been made an ambassador for the anti-narcotics agency. Don't ask how much she was paid.lol

COCAINE WORTH N2.2 BILLION (NAIRA) SEIZED IN LAGOS-VANGUARD
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA,
yesterday, arrested five suspected drug traffickers in connection with a
large shipment of heroin worth N2.2 billion from Pakistan at the Tin
Can Island Port, Lagos.
The agency also arrested a lady, (names withheld) over substance
suspected to be cocaine at the Port Harcourt International Airport,
Omagwa, Rivers State.
The lady allegedly ingested 839 grammes of the substance, and was
arrested while on her way to board a London-bound Lufthansa Airline. She

COURT GRANTS BABA SUWE BAIL+SEE PICTURES
Reprieve came the way of Baba Suwe, the famous comedian/actor this morning when Justice Yetunde Idowu granted him bail to the tune of N500,000 and one surety in like sum. However, the judge said if by Friday, Baba Suwe did not excrete any drug, then he deserves to go home.
The judge said the continued detention of the actor amounts to a violation of his fundamental human rights. She also noted that she would have allowed him to go home if the bail was perfected today but for the Federal High Court detention order granted NDLEA, the order is expected to expire on Friday 4 November 2011.
Baba Suwe was also present in court as ordered by the judge.

Bamidele Aturu the lawyer for Baba Suwe disclosed that the pronouncement was a victory for rule of law. The human rights activist also insist that it was wrong for NDLEA to arrest them and then started 'fishing' for evidence where there is none.

LATEST NEWS: BABA SUWE TO APPEAR IN COURT THIS MORNING
Baba Suwe, the actor/comedian that was arrested some weeks back by the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency on suspicion of trafficking in hard drugs would be in court this morning.A Lagos High Court judge had ordered the appearance of the actor based on an application by his lawyer to enforce his fundamental human rights.
However, the NDLEA said that it is confident that what the scanning machine detected inside the actor was hard drugs and nothing else. When it is time, he will definitely excrete the drugs. Some people are already of the notion that Baba Suwe's stay in NDLEA custody is getting too long. It is either the agency get it to the roots of the matter fast or they let Baba Suwe go home.
