Chief Adebutu Kessignton, one of Nigeria's shrewd businessmen is respected for his Philanthropist gestures.Recently, it was announced by the Lagos State Government that Kessington had donated computers, classrooms and furniture amounting to N56 million.

Yours truly was also there when he clocked 70 in 2006.The multi-millionaire donated several food items and cash to various institutions,his community and the Liberian Regugee home in Ogun State.Kessington also gave himself a wonderful birthday gift.He got married to his last wife about two weeks before the 70th birthday.The lady was about 30 years at the time.

Amongst Kessington’s wives were two women said to have been beauty queens several years ago in Nigeria.Kessinton has a circle of friends that included the high and mighty in Nigeria’s society. He was very close to Chief Abebayo Ayoku, the Babalaje of Lagos who died last year. He founded the popular face to face pool company with Ayoku in the 70s.

Today,Kessington is better known for his lottery company known as ' Owo Baba Ijebu'.Whenever he attend events,people hail the Iperu Remo born businessman as 'Baba Ijebu!'

EX-GOVERNOR’S SON HUMILIATES BOUNCER WITH MONEY

All over the world, money is used by the high and mighty in the society to achieve their aim, no matter the circumstances.
That was what happened recently at K’s Place, an upscale hangout on Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island
A slim built son of an ex-governor in Nigeria had his way but not without humiliating the man who would have thrown him out of the club. The young man was turned back when he tried to enter one of the VIP sections of the club. The bouncer who was oblivious of the boy’s status because of the way he was dressed, turned him back. The whole thing degenerated into an argument. The governor’s son became visibly angry,suddenly he dipped his hand into his pocket and landed the hefty bouncer a slap with money in his hands. The bouncer got confused but jubilated when he saw the bail of N500 notes (Everything amounted to N50, 000).He quickly picked it and thanked the chap who is barely 20.
Later, the bouncer got to know that he is an ex-governor’s son. Right now, it is always ‘yes sir!’ coupled with a smile whenever the bouncer sights the governor’s son anywhere.

Olu maintain reputation as a musician may have soared; following the release of his hit single entitled ‘Yahoozey’ but his attitude has not placed him in the good books of close friends and colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
A lot of people are complaining that the Ondo State born musician has an attitude problem. Sources disclosed that a Disc Jockey who is respected in the industry has also joined the league of people condemning Olu’s character. “This is a DJ who hardly talks, for him to have also joined in condemning Olu’s attitude that means the guy really needs to change.
Born Olumide Edward Adegbolu, the diminutive artiste regained prominence after several years of trying to make a hit. He used to be a member of a group known as maintain before it broke up.The group was also dissed by Ruggedman, a rapper who claimed they lacked creativity.
Yahoozey, the hit single he released in 2007 brought him back to limelight. He made so much money that he is regarded as one of Nigeria’s most flamboyant hip hop musicians right now.He drives state of the art vehicles such as Chrysler and Hummer jeep.Right now,Olu Maintain is considered as one of the top 5 by event organisers.
One of his friends who spoke under the condition of anonymity told http://www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com/ that Olu's unpalatable attitude to people around him is not because of his sudden rise to stardom. “He has always been like that since I knew him more than five years ago,I don’t believe those who are saying it is because of his new found popularity among music lovers", were the words of the source.
Another one told me, he should be kind to other people coming around him. He should remember that some years back when he was not making it. “The day he was traveling to London about four years ago with his former group members, his people came all the way from Ondo State. They followed him to the airport and even offered prayers there. Now that he is a big boy, he should tread softly”, said the source

PRESENTER SAYS 'HOLIDAYING IN NIGERIA IS A SWEET EXPERIENCE'

Michelle Dede, the female presenter at the last Big Brother Nigeria eviction show is still enjoying her holiday in Nigeria. She came into the country from her London base in November 2007.She told http://www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com/ that it has been a sweet experience so far.
“Since I came, I have been getting compere jobs here and there.It has been a wonderful experience so far” she told me in a chat this afternoon (26 January 2008).
Apart from the Big Brother Nigeria job, she was also the compere when Guinness brought Sisquo and other international artistes to Nigeria. She was also the compere at the launch of Folake Folarin fashion label. She was also one of the judges at the third screening of short listed housemates of the Soundcity Ambassadors reality show, which took place today at Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
The Warri, Delta State born presenter declined to make any comment about her love life. She also said she would not know when to make up her mind to move fully to Nigeria.

The wealthy Chagory family is set to open a multi-million Naira hangout in Lagos, Nigeria.The hangout, which is already nearing completion is situated inside the Lagoon Restaurant, one of their business concerns in Victoria Island.

Close friends of Yinka Dosunmu,one of the leading presenters with Soundcity Music Channel have denied speculations of crack in her love life.They disclosed that contrary to the rumour that she must have been dumped by the lover boy (or lover man),the relationship is still waxing stronger.

Yinka who is a princess from the Oba of Lagos royal lineage has been linked to an auto dealer and top socialite.The dude hail from Ilesa,Osun State.Rumour mongers said that the alledged lover is 'spoiling' her with good things of life.

There are friends who also said that as far as they are concerned Yinka is not into such relationship.According to them, such romance only exists in the figment of her detractors' imagination.They said the fact that she drives a Honda CRV jeep does not mean she is benefitting from an amorous relationship with a married man.They also said that her travels abroad are funded by her (afterall,she works) and her parents.
