Virgin Nigeria Airline sponsored the photos of Lagos depicted by the camera lenses of Victor Politis, a Greece national.The event took place on 2 November 2008 at Didi Museum managed by Mrs.Newton Jibunoh in Victoria Island,Lagos-Nigeria.We bring you some of the faces at the event.

Lanre Dabiri, the American based Nigerian born rapper and music producer was the centre of attraction last weekend as he formally enagaged the love of his life,Dolapo at a talk of the town event in Lekki. The bosigbangba kajo crooner went to 'postrate' to his in-laws.D'banj led a powerful delegation of eligible barchelors in the entertainment industry to support El Dee.

LAGOS SET TO HOST MISS PRECISION

In the on going effort of the new Lagos State Government to be a pacesetter, and also encourage public-private sector partnership, it has rolled out Miss Precision Beauty Pageant under the umbrella of Lagos State Sports Council.

Miss Precision Beauty Pageant is a pageant different from regular pageants. The word PRECISION means ‘ACCURACY’ and hitting target which is the embodiment of the Shooting Sports value system. The Pageant is the process of selecting a highly intelligent, confident, accurate and beautiful young lady, who would be the youthful female Ambassador of Shooting Sports in Lagos State. In addition the winner shall be the official face for the development of Shooting Sports, and a fore runner in the propagation of constituency values.
She will visit appropriate corporate bodies and other agencies to enhance the success of her one year plans.
However, the unique thing that sets this pageant apart from others, is that there will be no bikinis or swimming suits to expose flesh BUT instead contestants shall don trendy sports wears and have Novelty Matches amongst themselves.
There are different prizes for the contest, prizes like Cars, Generators, Uk & Ghana Trips, Beauty Treatment, Weekend for two, Clothes etc to be won. In addition, the winner will have the privilege of having the 1st Lady of Lagos State crown and mentor her.

The actualization of the pageant was perfected by Lagos State Sports Council under the leadership of Mr. Yomi Dada. “Friends of Lagos State” have teamed up support to ensure that the Pageant is a great success.

The Holy matrimony between Seun, daughter of Chief Felix Fagbohungbe (SAN) and Murtala Adedamola, son of Brigadier General (Retd) took place today Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina and a reception followed at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.Former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, his wife, Maryam, Senator Tunde Ogbeha,Otunba Subomi Balogun (Chairman of First City Monument Bank), Hon Tunde Akogun, Alhaja Bisi Abiola,Dr. Erastus Akingbola the Chief Executive Officer of Intercontinental bank and Governor Adebayo Alao Akala are some of the people at the ceremony. Others include Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, the Adimula of Ijeshaland, Oloris of Oba Rilwan Osuolale Akiolu 1 of Lagos,Regent Adeosun of Erin Ijesha,Chief (mrs.) Cordelia Agboti and several others.
