Women-dominated professions are fast becoming male bastions. After chefs, it is now the hair dressing arena that is throwing up some of the best names in the industry. The bubbly city of Lagos has its fair share of male hairdressers in keeping with the trend of increasing male hairstylists across the world.

SAHARAREPORTERS:Tahir Zakari Biu, EFCC Officer And Policeman's Son, Among The Bomb Blast Victims

Among the victims of the twin car bombs that rocked Abuja today was the son of a well-known police officer, Zakari Biu.
A controversial anti-terrorism police officer under the Abacha regime, Mr. Biu was accused of numerous human rights abuses. He was also linked to the still unsolved murder of Baguado Kaltho,  a senior reporter at the News magazine who was killed by a bomb detonated in the bathroom of a hotel where the police claimed he was trying to plant a bomb
