There is no contention here that Uti Nwanchukwu has worked his way to fame after winning the 2010 Big Brother Africa All Stars reality show in Johannesburg,South Africa. He is the man of the moment.Since his return to Nigeria his fatherland,he has received congratulatory messages from the Speaker of the House of Reps, Mr. Dimeji Bankola, President Goodluck Jonathan and even the Ibrahim Babangida Campaign organization has sent congratulatory messages to him.
That is not all, notable clubs in Nigeria have organized welcome party for the big boy who won for himself $200,000 (30 Million Naira). The other day, it was at Rehab, said to be owned by Olu Shodeinde and Owen Aisien.
I was at the one they did for him at Number 10, the hangout on Saka Tinubu in Victoria Island owned by Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha.Uti was on top of the world as many people came to 'rollick' with him.The height of the whole thing was around 4 AM when he was surrounded by chics and he really came to party hard. Tuface Idiabia's hit song 'Only Me'- was played- With the song many people around reminded Uti that "Ma lorope omo pe wo nikan lo ma lowo.." (Uti we are going be rich too, not just you).Top female photographer, Tyna Ezenna, her husband and top blogger,Linda Ikeji ware also there.
Well, the guy can party hard but he should avoid learning the hard way. He is a lucky man. He participated in Nigeria Next Movie Star, He did not win but that prepared him. He was once in the Big Brother Africa,he did not win, his second attempt made him a mega star
We pray that the guy manages his new found fame and fortune well. For now, the party continues. It all about UTI PARTY!!!

BUNOR CREAZIONI @ MUSEUM FASHION EVENT
Recently, Frank Osodi Richard- the designer behind the House Of Bunor , paraded quite an interesting collection using the luxurious Lace fabric .
Overtime, its is well known that African lace denotes brightly coloured, industrially embroidered textiles that define the image of Nigerians worldwide. For over fifty years it has been the fabric of choice for festive and formal dress styles. Hence an exhibition was organised to parade and explore the historical cultural significance of this particular fabric in Nigeria.
The exhibition presented a fascinating chapter in African fashion history and enhanced a contemporary aspect of culture that extends beyond the borders of a single nation, interconnecting people, ideas, and creativity through trade.
The African Lace is known to highlight fashion, creativity, opulence, and it is the joy of social gatherings in Nigeria. The exhibition is organised by the Museum of Ethnology Vienna and the National Commission for Museums and Monuments of Nigeria.
It is supported by the Austrian Embroidery Industry

ECONOMIC HOME SKIN CARE REMEDIES WITH EASE
A good complexion is the first thing many people notice in a girl. Acne can be a tremendously embarrassing and burdensome problem. It is easy to feel that you don't have control over your breakouts. But the fact is, you do.
Now, your first response may be to assume that I'm going to recommend you see your dermatologist. Yes, in very severe cases one must do this but if it is mild acne you may want to explore this natural ways which i hope you will find helpful
Isn't it time we kick back the acne out o our beautiful skin? ah ah what is it sef? Acne has dealt with us so much for centuries and decades, and as the David Beckham “Kick Malaria” Advert goes, we hope to bring you ways and means to successfully kick this issue out of our skin, it gets so bad sometimes that one’s face looks like Footballs lined up for the Eyimba football club season
Here are some easy things you can start doing today to help you heal your acne. You should notice a difference in about 4 weeks. Stick with whichever works best for you. When it comes to managing acne, experience is a powerful teacher.
Remedy 1: Vitamin E
Try applying vitamin E to the scarred area three to four times daily to help reduce its visibility. If you keep at it, you should see some results after one to two weeks. It takes a long time before you get really noticeable effects. You can pierce you normal vitamin E Capsule and apply on affected area
Remedy 2: Tomato
Placing slices of tomato on your skin can act as an astringent to break up oil, lift away dead skin and help prevent acne. The pulp of the tomato has the strongest astringent properties.
Remedy 3: Toothpaste
Apply a dab of toothpaste on your pimple before bed. This is useful for new pimples, especially big ones. Whenever I spot a new pimple, I try this. Usually the next morning, it will be dried out enough to pop on its own.
Remedy 4: Ginger
After cleaning your skin, cut a few slices of fresh ginger and apply to the affected area for 20 minutes. You'd better do this laying down, otherwise the ginger may fall off. It might burn a little, but probably not too much. The ginger may leave behind a bit of redness after you remove it, but don't be too worried. Just wipe off and have a good rest. In the morning, the scar should become smooth, and will hopefully fade completely within two weeks (please i you skin is sensitive skip this remedy)
.
Remedy 5: Lemons
Lemon juice is effective in lightening the dark spots left by acne and pimples.
First, cleanse the scarred area with water. Soak up a teaspoon of lemon juice with a cotton ball and smooth it over the marks. Leave the juice in place for ten minutes, then rinse.
Be careful how often you use lemon juice: it can have the side effect of making your skin light sensitive. Make sure to cover treated areas with sunscreen before going outdoors.(please i you skin is sensitive skip this remedy)
Remedy 6: Apply a honey mask to your face once or twice a week
Honey has antibacterial properties so it is great for disinfecting and healing minor blemishes. It is also gentle on sensitive skin.
Remedy 7: Keep your hair off your face
If you have long hair or bangs, pull your hair off your face. Your hair contains oils as well, and will contribute to your breakouts. You'll also want to wash your hair everyday and after workouts
Remedy 8: Eat carrots for beta-carotene (Vitamin A)
Vitamin A strengthens the protective tissue of the skin and actually prevents acne. It helps reduce sebum production. This vitamin is essential for the maintenance and repair of the tissue which the skin and mucous membranes are made of. Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant needed to rid your body of toxins. Did you know that a deficiency in vitamin A can actually cause acne?
Remedy 9:
Do not pick or squeeze your blackheads and pimples
As tempting as it may be, do not squeeze, scratch, rub or touch your pimples and blackheads. Do any of these actions, actually increases the sebum production. Plus, when you squeeze, you are actually rupturing the membranes below your skin, causing infection and sebum to spread underneath your skin. The result is more pimples. Abeg o! Resist it and send it back to sender
Remedy 10:
Wash your pillow case every other day
Your face lays on your pillow case every day. Your pillow case absorbs the oils from your skin and reapplies the dirt and oil. Thus causing breakouts. Keep your sheets and pillow cases clean.
I hope this has been helpful, please do not hesitate to contact me I you have any questions, remember I’m always here to serve you. Together let us embark on the journey to achieving the best our skin has to offer!
