The success of FELA! internationally prompted the need to bring the Broadway show to the birth place of the Afrobeat Legend- Fela Anikulapo Kuti on which the Broadway musical is based.

The Broadway League  , Broadway shows sold approximately $1.037 billion worth of tickets in calendar year 2010, compared to $1.004 billion for 2009, but it is being highly speculated that because FELA! Is Nigerian, its number of viewers is set to beat the international Broadway records. A proof of this is the heavy traffic at FELA! ticket centers in Lagos.</sup>

RIBADU DENIES EVER CALLING TINUBU CORRUPT

The presidential aspirant of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Mr. Nuhu Ribadu has denied that former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was corrupt durning his tenure. Ribadu who was speaking at a presidential debate on NN24 on friday in Abuja praised Tinubu for what he regarded as his tremendous and positive impact in Lagos durning his tenure as governor of Lagos State. Ribadu noted that Tinubu was never one of those he listed as corrupt governors durning his tenure as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)

Also speaking at an ACN youth forum in Lagos, alongside his running mate, Mr. Fola Adeola and Mr. Babatunde Fashola the governor of Lagos State, Ribadu said if elected into office he will ensure that the economic development of the nation is rapid.Adeola, a former Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) also told the audiance durning the questions and asnwer time that their leadership would be purposeful and result oriented government. Facilitating so many economy recovery programmes for the benefit of Nigeria as nation and Nigerians in general.

Segun Obe a Seasoned Vocalist in Nigeria is ready to work with you. There have been two sessions of the Voice Training programme and over 50 vocalists have been greatly improved and are doing much better in their singing as well as stage performance. Several speakers will be anchoring the programme and they are experts in the field of music as well as voice. There will be guests like Cohbams, Wole Oni,Tosin martins and many more seasoned producer and singer.
Asides classes, there will also be a voice clinic. There will also be the opportunity for one (or more) outstanding participant to record with Segun Obe on his next album. It's a fully interactive programme.

Segun Obe has been a choir director for several ministries over the span of his musical life. He has worked with choirs such as the Winners Chapel Lagos choir, Foursquare Gospel Church choirs, several Redeemed Churches and House On The Rock's Chosen Treasure choir where he presently sings. He is a voice trainer and coach of repute and has had the opportunity to share the stage with Lionel Peterson, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, Pastor Marvin Winans, Kurt Carr and many more anointed singers and worshipers.
