Latest News:d’banj prepares for Koko Concert 2011

AWARD winning Nigerian hip hop star, Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D'banj is finalising plans to hold what perhaps may turn out to be the biggest concert in Nigeria this year, Koko Concert Lagos '11.
 The Lagos show is coming after a successful London held at the Hammersith Apollo edition which featured members of Mo' Hits crew Dr Sid, D' Prince, Wande Coal and K Switch and Kanye West's surprise performance. The American superstar who recently signed D'banj and Don Jazzy to his G.O.O.D Music label flew into London unannounced and stormed the stage to the surprise of everyone. No date has been fixed for the Koko Concert Lagos '11 according to a statement by Mo' Hits media Company, Media Image Managers, M.I.M, but the show has been fixed for a day in December.
 Meanwhile, D'banj added a new wonder on wheels to his already saturated fleet of cars;  an Aston Martins vintage.

HiTV offers Dove TV, TVC free

HITV subscribers will enjoy free viewing of two of its top channels, Dove TV and Television Continental, TVC from October through December 2011. This disclosure came in a statement signed by the Nigeria Pay TV Company's Marketing/Brand Manager, Mrs. Kemi Fashina.
Thus, from this Friday, Nigerians would watch and listen (free) to words of exhortation from the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Enoch Adeboye at the November edition of the Holy Ghost Congress. Also, all the exciting programmes on TVC would be served on a free platter. "We value our subscribers and that is why we ensure that we do everything for them to get more value for staying with the HiTV platform. Dove TV and TVC will remain free from now till December pending when you renew your subscription."
TVC, a terrestrial TV station shows Nollywood movies, talkshows  as well as hair raising political programmes. "This is what subscribers would be seeing free of charge before they could go and renew their subscriptions at any of our dealer outlets."
She said more channels will be offered free for some time after this offer elapse. "It is a bonus for all our subscribers and that is why staying with the HiTV platform is always a rewarding experience."
HiTV airs live all Redeemed Church of God programmes held at the camp periodically.

LATEST NEWS:SAMSON SIASIA TAKES NFF TO COURT OVER UNPAID SALARIES

 Samson Siasia,the head coach of the super eagles,Nigeria's senior nation team who was sacked recently and replaced by Coach Stephen Keshi, has dragged the Nigeria Football Federation to court over alleged breach of employment contract.
 Siasia who has filed a suit at a federal high court in Abuja said there was a need to enforce his fundamental human rights as the football federation also failed to pay him his salaries and allowances regularly. At the moment,they are still owing him.
  Musa Ahmadu the secretary general of NFF confirmed that it is true they are still owing Siasia but promised that all his outstanding bills would be paid before the end of the year.
 Siasia was sacked after the country failed to qualify for the African Cup of nations football tournament.

LATEST NEWS:STEPHEN KESHI IS SUPER EAGLES NEW COACH

Few days after the sack of coach Samson Siasia, the Nigeria Football Federation has appointed coach Stephen Keshi as the new coach of the super eagles. Keshi is not a new to the job. He was once the coach of the team before he was also sacked. Keshi was a former captain of the Nigeria Super Eagles for many years.
 Gistmaster gathered the appointment of Keshi was made today after an executive meeting of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja.
  Keshi is back!

MARIAH YEATER CLAIMS 17 YEAR OLD JUSTIN BIEBER IS THE FATHER OF HER LOVE CHILD

 Mariah Yeater have filed a suit claiming that Justin Bieber is the father of her 3 months old baby. Mariah claimed to have met the superstar musician after a concert in Los Angeles. She said that the 17 year old Bieber met her after a bodyguard permitted to see him.
 They struck an accord,falling into each other arms almost immediately. She claimed that Bieber later requested that they go somewhere private.
  Yeater said she wants the court to compel Bieber to submit himself for paternity test as she is very much interested in getting support for her baby.
Meanwhile, Bieber have announced through his twitter account that he would rather move on with his music and not get distracted by gossips. Yeater is 20 and she claim to have met Bieber on October 25, when he was just 16!
 Even if its true,sure you know Lil Wayne beats Bieber to this. Lil Wyne was only 15 when his first child arrived.So, talk of record breakers in Hollywood.

COURT GRANTS BABA SUWE BAIL+SEE PICTURES

 Reprieve came the way of Baba Suwe, the famous comedian/actor this morning when Justice Yetunde Idowu  granted him bail to the tune of N500,000 and one surety in like sum. However, the judge said if by Friday, Baba Suwe did not excrete any drug, then he deserves to go home.
    The judge said the continued detention of the actor amounts to a violation of his fundamental human rights. She also noted that she would have allowed him to go home if the bail was perfected today but for the Federal High Court detention order granted NDLEA, the order is expected to expire on Friday 4 November 2011.
Baba Suwe was also present in court as ordered by the judge.
who was arrested some weeks back by Nigeria's drug law enforcement agency on suspicion of trafficking in narcotics.

 The NDLEA lawyer, Mr. Femi Oloruntoba admitted that the case of Baba Suwe is unprecedented. No suspect have stayed this long before excreting drugs in detention.The highest that they seen is 15 days.
  The judge also warned NDLEA to be careful with the life of Baba Suwe with the way the agency is making him to excrete.
 After the court session, gistmaster captured the mammoth crowd of  fans of the actors, friends and media personalities who gathered outside the court room, hailing him - 'Oya gbeti'
  Bamidele Aturu the lawyer for Baba Suwe disclosed that the pronouncement was a victory for rule of law. The human rights activist also insist that it was wrong for NDLEA to arrest them and then started 'fishing' for evidence where there is none.
