Dbanj first and second album launch diary

Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as Dbanj has found his way into Nigerian entertainment industry hall of fame.Toping the charts for weeks and making millions of Naira performing at high profile events,Dbanj turned instant hit shortly after he returned to Nigeria with his partner,Don Jazzy in 2004.
   
The transition from just a musician into a mega star within a short period can turn into a best selling motivational book just like "Think big and grow rich, written by Napoleon Hill.
I covered the first album launch of Dbanj some years back at the White House,Ikeja. 

 The venue was the first floor of the building and we had few people in attendance including the mother of the musician. Dbanj even performed in the hall. That day, you can count how many people came.

 By the time,Dbanj would be having the second album launch, he had already turned a maga star. The incumbent governor of Lagos state, Mr Raji Babatunde Fashola and his prodecessor in office,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu were part of the guests.

  The event took place inside the biggest hall in Eko Hotel and Suites,Victoria Island. The attraction,design and representation of both events were way too far apart.

Dillish is Big Brother Africa 2013 Winner

Dillish from Namibia is winner of the 2013 big brother africa the chase.Fondly described as the most beautiful housemate in the BBA 2013 edition, she will get the 300k USDollars for winning africa's most viewed TV reality show.
Most people thought Melvin would be winner. It was a great shock. Cleo from Zambia was the first runner up while Ghana's Elikem placed third position.

Melvin,Beverly Failed to Win BBA Chase

Nigerians in the BBA last five,Beverly Osu and Melvin Oduah have just been evicted.Despite the popular assumptions that Melvin would be the winner of the most scandalous Big Brother Africa reality show,he was sent out leaving behind Cleo,Elikem and Dillish.

Beverly Breaks Down in BBA House As Angelo is Evicted

Beverly was in tears this evening,weeping like a baby as her boyfriend in the Big Brother Africa The Chase show,Angelo got evicted.

Melvin,Beverly's fellow compatriot from Nigeria,however,gave her a shoulder,pacifying her that it is just one week before the game ends and he will see Angelo again.

Beverly and Angelo had a relationship in the house,kissing almost everyday and gisting about this and that before eviction night today.

Bimp from Ethiopia was also evicted.

BBA Eviction:Bimp,Angelo evicted,just as Dillish sails into final

South Africa rep in Big Brother Africa,Angelo has been evicted. It was shocking to most viewers who thought Angelo would have survived the BBA eviction.

Bimp was the first BBA housemate that was evicted this evening.The queen of the house,Dillish survived the eviction.

Now you know who is more hurt by the news-certainly,Beverly the Nigerian housemate in the reality show. Bev confessed he was attracted to Angelo and made a move at him. The two of them enjoyed their relationship while it lasted in the house.
There was a time blogs reported that Angelo and Bev had sex in the BBA house,but they denied it on air.It was just 'smooching'...that was all we heard.

Yoruba Actress Laide Bakare Returns With Iron Lady

Nollywood
actress, Laide Bakare, has returned
to Nigeria after months of maternity vacation in the United States of America. That
may not be new, though. What you will find new about the beautiful actress is that
she has just finished shooting a new movie titled Iron Lady with stars based abroad and Nigeria.
We
learnt that the new film was shot in Florida using some such exotic locations
in Tampa Bay and Miami cities.
Recall
that Laide just launched Uncommon Alhaja,
another super flick which was conceptualized and completed in U.S. while she was
on holiday.
'Iron
Lady' will no doubt position Laide as an actress who is not only creative but
adventurous in her chosen field as a great role interpreter with flair for
elegance and professionalism. Her choice of Florida, we gathered, was stemmed
from the fact that the cities have such scenes that will delight the audience.
