[/caption]Former first lady of Delta State, Mrs. Theresa Nkoyo Ibori has been sentenced to 5 years in jail. According to report monitored on Saharareporters, Mrs. Ibori was sentenced in a money laundering trial involving her husband, Chief James Ibori, former Govenor in Oil rich Delta State, Nigeria.
The sentence was passed today (22 November 2010) by the Southwark Crown Court, London, Uk. Her husband is still battling the extradition sentence passed on him in Dubai, UAE. He is appealing against his extradition
