EKINEYO - OYENIKE spelt backwards , is the effervescent clothing line of an up and coming designer out of Brooklyn, NY. Oyenike, designer of EKINEYO, grew up in Chicago and at one point had aspirations of building furniture. She considers her design aesthetic to be minimalist in nature; yet, bold.A line inspired by color, minimalism, and very clean silhouettes ,her love for modern art, going to museums, and carpentry influences her designs as she had always wanted to build furniture.Inspired by bold color and simple construction, She is also inspired by music.
