Ehime Aikhomu consoles mum, Rebecca Aikhomu at burial of the late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu

The remains of Admiral Augustus Aikhomu, a former Chief of General Staff durning the administration of General Ibrahim Babangida was finally interned yesterday in his home town of Irrua in Edo State, Nigeria.
Vice President Namadi Sambo led the Federal Government delegation to the ceremony in Edo State (click to read breaking news of Ehimen Aikhomu death as Dana Airlines crashed in Iju Ishaga Lagos). He described the late admiral as a fine officer who contributed his own quota to the development of the country. Other top government officials at the event include Anyim Pius Anyim; the Chief of Staff to the President, Mike Oghiadomhe; the Chief of Defence Staff, Oluseyi Petinrin; the Chief of Army Staff, Azubike Ihejirika; the Chief of Naval Staff, and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Mohammed Dikko Umar.
