LATEST NEWS:TINUBU BUYS BELVIEW AIRLINE

  A former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has floated his own airline. Tinubu bought the moribund Bellview Airlines for amount which obviously set him back with millions of Naira. Already, the new refurbished airline company is expected to be one of the aviation industry top players within a short time. The airline has already been renamed First Nation Airline. Recruitment into the company has already been carried out some months ago.

  Tinubu was a former Treasurer at Mobil Producing before he ventured into politics. He was a senator durning the ill fated third republic in Nigeria. He later became Governor in 1999. 

He is the indisputable leader of opposition in Nigeria politics.He is called the emperor of Burdillion, an appellation given to him because of the large number of politicians who frequent his Burdillion road, Ikoyi residence in Lagos.

 Gistmaster gathered that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the leader of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has put in place a good team that would make the airline business a success.

 Another Nigerian, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim had bought over Virgin Nigeria. He later changed the name to Air Nigeria. Two former governors in Nigeria also had investment in aviation until they stopped operations. Mr. Buba Marwa a former governor of Lagos State stated Albraka Airlines but it later crashed into debts due to what observers described as poor management.

 Orji Uzor Kalu, a former Governor of Abia State also owned Slok Airline but it has stopped operating due to issues over it operating license and other financial problems.
