After the classy engagement between Ololade Cardoso and Oladipupo Alakija in Lagos, the main event will now hold in August at the London Hilton Hotel on Park Lane.Lolade is the son of former Lagos commissioner, Yemi Cardoso and Abimbola Cardoso (Daughter of Late Chief TOS Benson).The groom's parents are Modupe and Folorunsho Alakija, owner of Rose of Sharon.Both mothers are from
Ikorodu town in Lagos State. Their fathers are also Lagosians.
The engagement took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos with many of Naija's richest men in attendance. ACN leader and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was there, so also was the incumbent, Governor Raji Babatunde Fashola.
Having completed the traditional engagement in Lagos, the white wedding will now take place in August 2012.The London Park Hotel is a 5 star hotel. It is 0.5 miles from the green park tube station
