Munachi Abii, the current Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria is expected to bow out after reigning for one year on Friday 27 March 2008.
A new person would take over after a keenly contested beauty peagent at Expo Centre,Ocean View, Lagos.Its an annual show put together by Silverbird Group.
http://www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com/ was at the rehersal of the contestants this afternoon.I saw that most of them were busy trying to learn one or two things to increase their chances.I also saw them doing a choreography with rave of the moment musician,9ice.
The girls did not have much opportunity to get 9ice off the hook.Toni Payne was there but I wouldn't tell if her eyes trafficated or not.
They did Gongo Aso,one of his hit tracks.I later learnt that Modella would be giving them clothes for that particular session on Friday.
In all 30 girls would be competing for the coveted crown of Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria.They have been in camp at Kuramo Lodge of Eko Hotel & Suites for sometime now.We gathered they are three in a room.These would enable them get used to themselves before amd after the contest.
http://www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com/ gathered that as part of the pre-event activities,they have been paid coutesy visits to Amingos,they were at La Casera's event,which took place at Da Grotto.They were also at another event put together by Visafone.
Don't let me forget to tell you that the anchor for this year's edition is Wild Child, the same guy that did it last year.
The new Queen enjoys alot of goodies attached to the office of MBGN.She will also be an instant celeb!

ReplyDeleteMunachi Abii did not do a good job as miss Nigeria. All she was doing is dating men and linking herself with that good for nothing Lanre Nzeribe man. And I heard she wants to rap? Goodnes Lord! I hope the new miss Nigeria can do a better job and get off scandals and stay away from casinova men. There is nothing wrong with dating but date good men please!

She took off some years to work after secondary school after wish she enrolled to start at university. She became miss Nigeria in her 300 level. Munachi's real age is 24 years. She lied aout her age. She even made a new passport lying about her age. There is a big question mark about credibiity of MBGN.How could she had gone free with this kind of scandal?????

Beauty is knowing that tomato is a fruit, knowleadge is knowing that tomato is in a salad too. If you are beautiful and intelligent, act like one. To Munachi Abii: Talking and sounding intelligent is not enough, do something better you can be proud of.

To the liar that said she saw text messages, cut the crap, she is very close to me and all that Lanre bull was rubbish... as for all the other men, they are all clear lies, peter and her are friends and thats it.. like i said i know her personally. Well, maybe she cud have done a little more, but really.. even if she did, will all u haters acknowledge? Did u know she worked with the sickle cell foundation? Did u know she gave a large amout of her earnings to various charity organizations, including mine? She has done all she could do.... and finally! Munachi will turn 21 this year, i am a year older, we were born and raised in PH 2geda, went to school 2geda and despite her celebrity status, she has stayed humble and kept all friends close. Ok, Munachi and Lola clearly had a fight over Peter. After realsing she was pregnant, peter and Lola got back together and munachi was history. This was stated on lola's rescent interview that they almost broke of because of a second girl coming into the picture. Thank God they didnt. If Muanchi is dating a new guy outside Nigeria, good gor her. She can move on with her life and stop breaking relationships up.

ReplyDeleteif you read well, u will see that i wrote "sickle cell" foundations as well as other charity organizations... sickle cell is of MGBN.. how about the YESS org and Catch them young and even FFOY... i know of those three she donated to from her own earnings... so i just dont talk, i talk from facts!
ReplyDeleteluscious, i think you have a serious problem if you dont understand that MBGN is a brand and are being paid to do that. The present girls such as Adaeze Igwe and Stephanie are doing the same and are not making much force or complaining. Its seems to you that you are making a big deal out of NOTHING! Munachi was paid to do the job, if you cant accept that, stop nagging about it and move on! Her reign is over anyway. You need to read on and get a better understanding, ok.... And I dont think you are making any good publicity by nagging about what charity she did or not. If its charity in the first place, you should not make noise about it, otherwise its no charity at all!

ReplyDeleteTruth is there is absolutely zero credibility in the brand MBGN. These girls are a door step away from being prostitutes. It is a shame cause back in the 80's and 90's my older sister said it was refreshing to come across the crown wearer of MBGN, she said it was like spotting Janet Jackson, Hally Berry or Vanessa Williams. I am sorry to say but Munachi was the worst of them all. What value did she add to Nigeria? Who remembers her but for her scandals? She slept around with men, she denied Lanre when in fact she dated him and collected gifts from him. She tried to snatch peter from his love, but did not successed because she did not have what Miss Omotayo has which is beauty, humility, intelligence sheer sexiness. Munachi should be ashamed of herself. Do you ever come across a beauty queen from any other country at every night club? She is everywhere she is not supposed to be. Rapper? child please! As far as Adaeze, God help the little lad. She too has followed in Munachi's footsteps. MBGN needs to be revamped. Lets start screening our girls properly. Let's find that which will make us proud across the globe. I am 21 and ashamed to be born in this era where sex is cheap and beauty equals ho!
