[/caption]Less than a week after the sudden death of a Nigerian actress, Yemi Eleto Akande in the UK, the Nigerian entertainment industry has lost yet another important personality.
gistmaster.com, gathered that Christy Essien Igbokwe, a veteran singer and actress died after a brief illness. Christy who became popular in the early 80s because of her popular song, Omo mi Seun rere, also took part in the rested television drama - The New Masquerade.
Igbokwe's last major public appearance before was at the recording of a major music reality show in Lagos. She performed on stage with one of the contestants.
