It thought it was a joke until I realised that people love the blog more than I do.Initially, I thought I could just play with it until I saw the comments, text and phone calls.I thank all the people that have 'yabbed"me concerning the spelling and grammatical errors. That is why i am pleading that you pardon us for the 'englishes'(

Last night I had a meeting with four people who studied my blog. They all told me the same thing-Niyi "farabale' (I should be patient) when typing and I should read over and over again before posting.Secondly, I should change my style because the blog appeal is not local but universal.Alot of Nigerians abroad are reading and they may not be in tune the style.
I must thank Catherine Asigbe, the babe who told me that next week is my internet week. She said i need to have internet connection on my laptop. This would ensure that i don't have to rush to the stinking cafe down street.A place where you have all manners of people drinking (imagine in a cafe) and shouting because they have just chatted with their 'maga'.This morning, I am going to buy a land phone.Next week,i will pay N15,000 for internet connection. Now, I know that this blog thing is serious matter.
One thing about me is that I have never deleted any comment on this blog. That is the truth and nothing but the truth.I don't even know how to do that right now.Believe me, I realised quite late that even when you post a story, you can edit it later.Immediately,I post a story (I usually post in a hurry) , I read through and I found out there was a mistake,I see myself as a fool and thought there was nothing I could do again to correct it.I never knew I could edit and re-post.Last night, I got the tutorial. In fact, I also got to know how to check the traffic of readers that yesterday.
Linda Ikeji,my friend who introduced me to this 'blog' thing only thought me how to post.We had no time to check the other areas.Once again,I am very sorry for all this mistakes. Vera,I saw your comment on the blog and I must tell you that I was very impressed. You told me the truth.I would love to meet you one of these days. After reading some comments, one would go to bed having a nightmare. One would sleep and a bull will start pursuing him.Vera's own, just like that of many people was not a personal thing, it was straight to the point and constructive.
Why did I call these four people I told you earlier?Well, it was in a bid to forge ahead.I felt bad about the comments on the errors.Femi Ayinla told me last night that people want me to do the whole thing in a big form."They love what you are doing but they want you to be patient while posting the stories.Niyi,I have read you in the past and I believe you in you.Give more time to editing before doing your posting"He said
He also told me to get atleast a staff. He promised to give me money to pay the staff for the first month. While writing this piece, he told me the money is ready and someone should come and pick it.I am happy because I can now employ someone as online assistant. In a newspaper house, you have about three to four people editing and re-editing what must have been written by a reporter or an editor before it goes to printing press. The end product is just what you see out there. The big websites in the USA and others have people doing things for them and they have huge resources at their disposal. That is not an excuse for me.What your 'boy' needs for now are words of encouragement. There is no organization without problems at the starting point.
Please read this piece and tell me if I did not farabale' enough.Thank you and I promise from Saturday, this website will have a lovely post.I remember that I had done several PR jobs for corporate entities and individuals without such complaints.I told myself,i just have to give this thing more time. Please check the posts from tommorrow and you will will be glad.
All the people that have also commended me, I appreaciate your comments. If there is a mistake on this post please, use your biro and correct it.
Eyin temi...encourage mi!
Thank you all!
