ABUJA COURT ORDERS ARREST OF SENATOR

Alphonsus Obi Igbeke, the senator representing Anambra North is to be arrested and brought before the magistrate court in Abuja for forgery. According to magistrate Attahiru Alkali, the senator should be arrested based on the allegations that he presented forged papers before the court, which mislead the court into passing judgement in his favour as the Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the last election. Senator Igbeke took over from Senator Joy Mordi in 2010 after an appeal court declared her election null and void. FG COMPESATE FAMILIES OF KILLED CORPERS WITH 50 MILLION NAIRA DONATION

President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria on behalf of the Federal Republic of Nigeria compensated the families of Youth Corpers who lost their lives during the violent riot that took place in Bauchi and other parts of northern Nigeria. ROCHAS OKOROCHA ANNOUNCED WINNER OF IMO GUBER ELECTION

UPDATE ON NIGERIA ELECTION RESULT:ACN WINS LAGOS,OGUN, OYO

In Lagos, incumbent Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola trashed Ade Dosunmu of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and others to emerge the governor elect. Senator Ibikunle Amosu of the ACN also won the governorship election in Ogun State. Amosu won General Olurin of PDP, Mr. Gboyega Isiaka of PPN and others. Governor Gbenga Daniel is the leader of PPN in Ogun while former President Olusegun Obasanjo led the PDP in the state. In Oyo, Mr. Ajimobi is reported to have Alao Akala of PDP.He is also the  incumbent Governor.
