TOP AMALA JOINTS IN IBADAN

Though believed to be the favorite food of the indigenes of Ibadan, it is still loved by Yoruba majority. Amala could either be white, brown or even black in colour and can either be made from yam or plantain which is sun-dried and grounded.  It comes out in a floury form and it is called yam flour or ELUBO in Yoruba. It is eaten with ‘ewedu’ or ‘abula’. INASTRANTE: This food joint has been in existence since the early 70s.It is located beside the cultural centre and not too far from the state secretariat. Inastrante was founded by Ahaja Muslinat Akanke Tijani of blessed memory. It is tagged as the most popular of all. This joint is managed by the late Alhaja’s children. Mr Tijani, one of her sons told Gistmaster.com that they are patronized b
